Dog is my co-pilot.
Lately, I have been lost with out my "co-pilot"-Sasha. As many of you know Sasha was my 10 year old Yelow Lab;the best and swetest Lab, EVER! Last January('04) we discovered she had cancer. She was only given three months to live and I tried to make the best of the time we had left together. She was stronger than we all thought and lasted with a few close calls until September, when sadly, the time came to let her go. I was devestated!
I always knew I would include another Lab in my life at some point, but knew I was not ready to take on a new puppy just yet. But, I have, by way of my friends had visitation privileges with their "children". Lilly White, Joplin Hempson-Brown and Chloe Seeley-Herman have all been victims of my "pent-up" puppy loving. I'm not sure how they deal with it! In fact, Chloe is laying at my feet as I type this evening. Her Mom and Dad are both travelling this week.
And now, may I report the true catalyst of this Blog.....
My, as yet, still "cooking" new yellow Labrador puppy-Lexi! Litle Lexi is 33 days old, today. And still with her Mom (Abbegail) and her 7 other littermates. My mom and her friend Dorla went to visit Lexi yesterday at the Hershey Farm and the report came in today.....She is getting cuter and cuter each day!
Her due date (for me) is March 3rd. So stay tuned for the antics of little Lexi!
